South Texas Programs Host Haunted House for Youth
This past October, Southwest Key Programs’ South Texas region celebrated its first Annual Haunted House event at our regional headquarters office! Youth Service Coordinator Diego Navarro and Office Manager Belinda Garcia spearheaded the event planning — and every department at the office participated, too.

The staff at South Texas HQ went all out in decorating the building and interior with all sorts of fun and spooky additions. They even helped the kids go trick-or-treating through the building and facilitated fun games. Staff also played music throughout the space to match the eerie energy of the autumn chill.

Everyone on-site, from staff to our costumed visitors, was wearing a mask or face covering because we wanted everyone scared of vampires or werewolves, not COVID-19.
The event was a resounding success and everyone who attended had a wonderful time. Jennifer Perez, Strategic Partnership Coordinator for South Texas said, “Shout out to Youth Service Coordinator Diego Navarro and Office Manager Belinda Garcia for putting this amazing event together!”
We’re excited to invite youth back next year for our second annual haunted house event, so keep your costumes ready!
