Employee Giving Fund Helps Youth Chase Big Dreams
We believe in the potential of every child. That’s why we encourage the youth in our programs to dream big. Southwest Key works within communities to help youth who have fallen off track and support youth breaking through barriers beyond their control.
Many leave our programs with big dreams about college and professional careers but have limited resources. This year, through our Employee Giving Fund, we were able to award scholarships to several individuals involved in our Youth and Family Services programs. Please join us in celebrating them and their big dreams.

Ireiry will attend Texas A&M University and plans to major in Elementary Education with a bilingual emphasis.

I aim to break the chains of poverty and empower students with knowledge, with a strong belief that language should not impose a barrier towards learning, and no child should be left behind!”

Yaritza has big dreams of becoming an Anesthesiologist and credits her participation in the Las Promesas De Laredo Program with building up for confidence and improving both her communication and active listening skills.
