Eric currently serves as Southwest Key’s Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer (CSTO), where he assists the CEO with formulating and implementing a vision and strategy for the organization. As CSTO, he is also responsible for driving transformational change across the organization.

Eric joined Southwest Key as the Chief Financial Officer in 2019. As CFO, Eric led the finance and accounting team and oversaw the financial health of Southwest Key and developed strategies to optimize operational performance, team effectiveness and financial improvement.

He is a former nonprofit board member and Accenture Partner with extensive experience developing, overseeing, and delivering financial strategy, IT solutions and organizational development domestically and internationally in various sectors. He has a successful track record of helping Boards and C-Suites through disruption and acute business challenges, and a proven acumen in M&A, post-merger integration, improving business performance, optimizing profitability, improving top-line results, spearheading organizational excellence, and building peak-performing teams.

Eric has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Houston. He is bilingual in English and Spanish and was a recent lecturer at the University of Houston, where he taught courses in company valuation, mergers and acquisitions, entrepreneurship and financial analysis.
